Please join us in congratulating Fenimore Asset Management CEO, Anne Putnam, on being named a 2026 Women Who Mean Business honoree by the Albany Business Review.

This recognition celebrates an outstanding group of women whose leadership, expertise, and dedication are strengthening organizations and communities across the Capital Region.

Anne joined Fenimore in 2006 as a Relationship Manager and in 2023, became the firm’s second-generation CEO.  “My father, Tom Putnam, founded the firm in 1974. I grew up in the family business. My education began at the kitchen table … Seeing those trusted relationships [develop] as I was growing up is what drives me day-to-day to continue growing Fenimore.”

Anne Putnam, CEO

Anne is an advocate of family business both from her legacy involvement at Fenimore and as a contributor to the success of other regional small businesses.

Anne’s commitment to our investors, associates, and community reflects the values that have guided Fenimore for more than five decades. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and grateful for her leadership as we continue investing for generations.

Tickets are still available for those who would like to join the celebration and recognize Anne and the entire 2026 Women Who Mean Business class at the upcoming awards luncheon on October 15th at Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia, NY.
